There are many tricks that can help you increase your efficiency when using your iPad. Get faster and more effective at incorporating digital tablet technology into your classroom instruction and daily tasks with these great tips!

Quiet your keyboard. If you don’t want to hear a click every time you press a key, go to Settings, select General, choose Sounds, and move Keyboard Clicks to OFF.

To screen capture anything displayed on your iPad, press the home key and the on/off key simultaneously. Your iPad will flash and a picture of the current display will be stored in your Photos app.

Easily save images from a website. Tap and hold the image until the Copy option appears. Your iPad will store the image in your Photos app.

You can open PDFs from Safari or from email attachments then save them to iBooks. First, open the document. Next, click the button on the top right and choose Open in iBooks. The document will be in your PDFs Collections in iBooks.

You can quickly access your rotation lock, volume and brightness controls. Simply press the home key twice, then swipe left along the bottom tray.
