With these outstanding apps, your students can travel through space, develop their own computer programs, conduct experiments, and more! We hope these user friendly applications help develop a rich problem-solving environment in your classroom.

Grades K-2

Kid Weather – This app allows students to plot weather conditions and keep track by week and month, introducing them to a key element of STEM graphing. $1.99

Cyberchase 3D Builder – Students can develop their spatial reasoning skills by building 3-dimensional geometric shapes from simple 2-dimensional shapes. $1.99

 

Grades 3-5

Junior Astronaut – This app uses rich illustrations, interactivity, and storytelling to teach students about the science behind space travel and includes topics such as air resistance, aerodynamics, mass, weight, and gravity. Free for first nine chapters.

Daisy the Dinosaur – With this app, students learn the basics of programming as they animate Daisy the Dinosaur to dance across the screen. Free
