Corresponding student projects include the engaging qualities of student work and assessment of and for learning, making it possible for the teacher to integrate Web 2.0 tools into the classroom immediately while insuring students are learning required content at an accelerated pace.  JATO gives real practical value to collaboration. Students become engaged in the authentic nature of the work rather than focusing just on required assignments which increases their opportunity to learn.
