Sonya Hightower-Routt

Sonya Hightower-Routt has over 10 years of experience as a K-8 educator. She currently serves as an 8^th grade English Language Arts teacher and the Discipline Management Coordinator at Stovall Middle School in Houston, Texas. She is the creator of C.H.O.I.C.E.S. (Changing Habits and Initiating Challenges that Ensure Success), a program targeted at changing the behavior of at-risk students. Sonya’s creative and charismatic presentations explore bullying prevention strategies and are aimed at educating school personnel, teachers and the greater school community.
