iFocus: A Shared Vision for a Successful Future

Most current classroom walkthrough models are based upon the traditional, one-person leadership paradigm, where the administrator is solely responsible for collecting, evaluating and relaying data. The iFocus workshop offers training on a new, innovative approach to classroom walkthroughs that emphasizes teacher involvement in the data collection process. Incorporating cutting-edge iPad digital technology, this model results in a common, data-driven language for teacher-led, continuous school improvement.

iFocus is a two-day, non-consecutive workshop which includes one iPad2 per participant. Workshop participants:

•    Learn a modern model for classroom walkthroughs that focuses on teacher involvement
•    Explore revolutionary training patterns and proven methodologies
•    Gain hands-on instruction and experience
•    Get expert coaching on iPad incorporation in the school-wide improvement process
•    Discover tips and tricks for easy navigation of the iPad device
•    Receive one full year of customized support services through the A+ Educators NOW Channel

All participants also receive a copy of eObserve, a trailblazing software package optimized for the iPad digital tablet.
