
Alexis Bryant holds a Bachelors in English from The University of South Florida and a Masters in Education with a Curriculum specialization from Nova Southeastern University. She has over ten years of experience in classroom teaching, curriculum development and best practice writing strategies. She is an Education Specialist at A+ Educators, and serves as the lead Humanities curriculum coordinator.

Dr. Alyce Hunter has been a teacher and administrator in New Jersey public schools for over 30 years. She has also taught graduate students and teachers at Wagner College, Rutgers University and Centenary College. Alyce holds a Doctoral degree from Lehigh University, a Masters degree from East Stroudsburg University and a Bachelors degree from Douglass College-Rutgers University. Her commitment to Differentiated Instruction is rooted in her beliefs and past experiences. She has written two books on the topic, Adolescent Literacy and Differentiated Instruction and Differentiated Instruction in the English Classroom: Content, Process, Product, and Assessment. Alyce enjoys working with teachers across the nation and helping them understand and practice DI as an exciting way to meet the needs of all learners.

Amber Countiss is a national learning consultant with 17 years of experience in the education field. She has worked in a variety of public and private settings with diverse student populations, ranging from preschool through high school. In the past, she has served as a classroom teacher, reading coach, GT coordinator, staff developer and educational consultant. Her current responsibilities and expertise include: curriculum and instruction, design and evaluation of professional development, classroom management, differentiated instruction, response to intervention and PK-12 literacy.

Amie Hanks holds a Bachelors and Masters in Chemistry as well as a Masters in Educational Leadership and Supervision. She is a certified trainer in Love and Logic, Ruby Payne’s Framework of Poverty, Brain Compatible Instructional Models and Rigor Relevance and Relationships. She is also knowledgeable in culture and climate assessments, walkthrough and observation techniques and best practices in instruction. Amie has 15 years of experience as a classroom teacher, district instructional coach and education administrator. For the past six years, she has also served as a national consultant and instructional coach.

Amy Berry is a National Board Certified Master Teacher who has spent the last 18 years in an elementary school classroom. As a head of the SMART Board initiative in her school district, she has had first-hand experience fundraising, purchasing, implementing and leading the training of staff members in the usage of SMART Notebook software. Throughout her career, Amy has always been enthusiastic about technology. She started training educators on the usage of technology in the classroom early on, running before, after and during school training sessions for her coworkers in addition to teaching at a university. A dynamic learner herself, Amy often remarks on how much she learns from her students, both young and old, in every situation in life.

Andrea Banks is currently pursuing her Masters in Higher Education Administration at Arizona State University. She is a veteran of the United States Air Force, and in the past, worked as the Assistant Sales Director for Hilton Hotels and taught writing courses at Nashville State Community College. Andrea is passionate about helping others reach their educational goals and enjoys assisting teachers obtain their re-certification through A+ Workshops.

Anne Widener holds a Masters degree in Early and Middle Education and a Bachelors degree in Business/Economics. She has over 10 years of experience in elementary education and has taught in school districts all over the country, including Chicago Public Schools, the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, NV and Albemarle County Public Schools in Charlottesville, VA. In addition, she has also been a teaching partner for the Master of Arts in Teaching Program at Mary Baldwin College, and has served as a sales consultant for A+ Educators for over three years. Anne is passionate about education and is dedicated to supporting teachers with quality instructional technology resources to improve student engagement and achievement.

Annemarie Baxter has been a highly successful, secondary-level educator for 11 years. During this time, she has taught Science in the traditional classroom as well as in the online environment. She specializes in writing and effectively implementing curriculum which focuses on Differentiated Instruction and incorporates Web 2.0 tools to meet the needs of every learner. Annemarie’s passion is getting to know her students and helping them to grow to their full potential.
