We’ve had a very busy and productive summer so far! I’m excited to share some of our biggest summer highlights with you.
Digital Nation Upgrades
Digital Nation will be unveiling a new and improved website in the next few months! Before school starts in the fall, members will find an expanded collection of interactive whiteboard lessons, Web 2.0 projects and resources which will now be searchable by:
- Grade level
- Subject area
- Software type
- State Standards
- Common Core Standards
Even better, subscribing educators will be able to request customized lessons by simply clicking on the State or Common Core Standards already in our database. This feature is sure to be a huge timesaver for teachers across all disciplines. In addition, all lessons will be posted directly to the website for quick and easy delivery.
New Professional Development Workshop Offerings
A+ Workshops is currently in the process of developing four new workshops which will be offered starting in the fall. All workshops have been developed by area experts and incorporate research-based strategies proven to positively impact student achievement. Our newest workshops include:
- Advanced Six Traits of Writing
- Advanced SMART Notebook
- Bullying Prevention
- Reading Comprehension
Gearing Up for the School Year
